Crona had been raised by the cruel witch Medusa who was a devout follower of Voldemort and was well known amongst his followers for her cunning and ruthlessness. Crona was abused and manipulated (by being under the Imperious Curse) into helping her mother kill and torture other witches and wizards in the name of the Dark Lord and was pretty much kept in isolation her entire life. Despite having done all of these horrible things Crona still has a soft heart. She doesn't really remember exactly what she's done when her mind wasn't her own but she knows that it was really bad and she actively tries not to remember or think about it.
Medusa was finally(supposedly) hunted down and killed by Aurors and Crona was taken into custody and put into foster care. Her foster parents, Alice and George were very kind to her and tried to help her to the best of their ability. Shortly after her arrival in "the real world" though, Crona recieved her acceptance letter to Hogwarts. She was hesitant to go at first but with a little encouragement from Alice and George she agreed to give it a try. Her foster parents genuinely care for her and eventually decided to adopt her. They write to her regularly.
Since not many people at Hogwart's except some of the staff really know the truth about Crona's past it's an ideal opportunity for her to attempt to start to live a normal life at last and finally rid herself of her own personal demons. She wants nothing more than to lead a normal life and eventually have someone love her. Crona is ridiculously naive and literally doesn't know what some very simple things are and often has a very child-like mentality towards things which can be really endearing or really irritating. The thought of anyone taking her newfound freedom away or trying to control her makes her upset and angry and if pushed...well, let's just say it's probably the one time she wouldn't be afraid to stand up for herself.

Physicially Crona is tall and thin and pretty androgynous looking with a mop of choppy pinkish/lavender hair. She's surprisingly strong for her size and decently fast on her feet. She sometimes laments being so flatchested since getting mistaken for a boy gets tiresome. She dresses modestly and will probably never wear anything as revealing as a crop top or two-piece bathing suit. The reason for this is that she has a large scar on the front and back of her body. To look at both scars it looks like she had something run through her. If you ever see it and ask her about it,she won't remember exactly HOW it happened.

Crona is a Parselmouth and has a pet snake named Ragnarok. Ragnarok was pretty much Crona's only friend when she was younger. He's is a bit of a jerk who tries to get Crona to misbehave. (like steal food from the kitchen for him since he's a pig.)He likes to ride around wrapped around Crona's neck.
Crona is very shy and tends to be nervous around people she doesn't know well. She'll open up a little more toward someone the more they talk to her though and is often happy to just be talking to someone. She tends to freeze up in social situations (such as dances) and may not participate much at first but is genuinely just happy to be part of everything.

Crona comes off as very timid but she's very sweet and loyal and will fiercely help protect someone she considers a friend.
She's a fourth year Hufflepuff.
